While Domenico Cimarosa was perhaps the most popular Italian opera composer of the second half of the 18th Century not much is known about his Keyboard sonatas which only came to light in 1924.These small scale Sonatas are reminiscent of Scarlatti and are simply charming and delightful - well worth discovering. Intermediate to Early Advanced level.
